Frequently
Asked Questions_________________________
1.)
What is a Virtual Assistant?
A Virtual Assistant is an independant professional who works
from their own office providing professional support services to
their clients in their area of expertise.
2.)
What are the benefits of partnering with a Virtual Assistant?
Virtual Assistants represent a hugely convenient and
cost-effective alternative to employees whose administrative
workload isn´t large enough to justify the expense of hiring a
full-time employer.
Outsourcing tasks you cannot or don´t like to perform allows you
to:
- Maximize the cost-benefit relationship, paying only
for the services you need and the real time dedicated to the
project.
- Save money
related to labor expenses, equipment and office space.
- Reduce
or eliminate the responsibility of having a full time
employee.
- Release hours
dedicated to administrative tasks to perform other activities
that will help you grow your business.
3.) Who should partner with a Virtual Assistant?
Any person or company who needs assistance in administrative
tasks, a specific project or has an extra burden of work can
greatly benefit from the services of a VA as you only hire one
when you need it.
-
Self employed entrepreneurs, executives, or frequent business
travellers (lawyers, journalists, authors, doctors, etc…)
- Import/Export business men.
- Foreign companies who need a local contact in Argentina to
develop their business.
- Web site owners or small business owners who operate through
Internet.
- Small business owners whose administrative workload isn´t
large enough to justify the expense of hiring a full-time
employer.
4.) How do I know I can trust someone enough to give them
access to my personal information?
You
naturally want to find a Virtual Assistant you can work
with well, you want your work cared for by the person you
intentionally chose to handle it.
In making initial contact, listen for the cues that tell you she
or he is someone you can rely on and form an excellent business
relationship with. It is not advised to hand over vital, secure
personal or business information right off. However, keep in
mind Virtual Assistance is an ongoing, collaborative
relationship. As you continue to work together, you build upon
that initial trust. If, at some point in the relationship, it
makes sense to give your Virtual Assistant access to that
information to work on your behalf, that's something you can
decide then. At the beginning of the relationship, there will
need to be a minimum level of trust extended.
5.) How do I get billed?
We offer three options depending on the needs of each client:
Rates per hour of services -
With this plan you use as many or as little as you need. The
hourly plan is a flexible option for clients who are not really
sure how much time they will need on a monthly basis.
Rates per project
-
The rate depends on the nature of the specific project that are
adjusted to the volume and frequency of work.
Retainer rates
-
Retainer fees are used when permanent assistance is required for
certain periodical jobs. Fee is estimated based on the monthly
hours required to perform the jobs at a lower hour rate. The
advantage of a retainer is that you are guaranteed the agreed
monthly hours. Hours must be used within the month they were
purchased for.
6.) How does the remote assistance work?
